How to play Chess

1. Chess follows the classic rules of chess. White moves first.
2. Tap a piece to see where it can go, then tap a highlighted square.
3. Checkmate the enemy king (put it in check with no way out) to win.
4. Castling, en passant and pawn promotion all work. Pawns that reach the far side always become queens.
5. Stalemate, the 50-move rule, threefold repetition and too few pieces left to checkmate are draws.
